Only four to go race fans, and I'm not talking laps. Four races left in the season. For races for 10 drivers, 10 crew chiefs, and 10 pit crews to figure out what they have to do to walk away from Homestead with the NEXTEL CUP CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY.
Only 171 points separate the number 10 driver Kyle Busch from the current leader, Matt Kenseth.
This week the drivers will be taking on Atlanta Motor Speedway. My picks for fantasy cup are as follows. I get two primary picks, and I have chosen Kasey Kahne (9/Dodge) and Flyin' Ryan Newman (12/Alltel Dogde). I also get three backup drivers and for those I have Carl Edwards (I have no idea what he is currently driving), Jimmie Johnson (48/Lowes Chevy), and Tony Stewart (20/Home Depot Chevrolet).
Best of luck to all the drivers.
Add your comments, opinions, and even your picks. The race is on Sunday, and next week I'll share my thoughts on Texas Motor Speedway!!

I've tried my best to get into NASCAR but I just can't get excited about it.

I totally understand that. I was the worst at one time. But then I found this friend who is DIE HARD NASCAR and he taught me how to watch a race. It helps if you know the lingo and the drivers and a little bit about the rules and points set up. And it is a very complex set of information to know and hold onto.
Now I love it. I know a lot of the drivers and their crews and can pretty well keep up with most of it. However, I can only keep up with NEXTEL CUP. You throw in the BUSCH SERIES, TRUCKS or ARCA RACING and I'm totally out of the loop.
