Should there be a rematch? The Ohio State/Michigan game did live up to the hype in the Buckeyes 42-39 win. The question now that both teams remain 1 and 2 in the BCS is should there be a rematch for the national championship? The answer in my mind is both yes and no depending on who the other option is. If the other option is USC or Notre Dame then yes the Wolverines deserve to play Ohio State again. The Trojans lost to unranked Oregon State. Even if they run the table why should they pass Michigan who has only lost to the #1 team in the country? I voted against the rematch in your poll question. It seems to me that if you don't win your conference championship, you shouldn't be allowed to play for the national championship. Period.
I guess I was under the wrong assumption that this situation was resolved when Oklahoma played LSU, even though they were not champions of the Big 12. That game came on the heels of Nebraska playing for the national championship in January 2002, even though they didn't even win the Big 12 North.
Give me Ohio State vs Southern Cal if the Trojans can beat Notre Dame and UCLA.

To me the Trojans lost their opportunity when they lost to Oregon State. I'm with dolphinfan that if Florida and Arkansas win out then the winner of the SEC Championship Game should go. I realize that Arkansas lost to USC but the thing is that their loss was to a ranked team. By the way, right now the no's are winning on the poll.

I'd go with SC over Ark because of the fact that SC took the Hogs to the woodshed in Fayeteville, 50-14. That's a hide tanning of the highest order. Ark is out. Florida chose to play FSU non conference. They also chose to play Southern Miss, Central Florida, and Western Carolina...all at home. SC trumps Fla because they played Ark, Notre Dame and Nebraska in non conference. That took stones that Fla has never had. Later on Gators. If SC and the SEC champ each have one loss, give me the Trojans. USC vs Ohio State.

I just don't see any reason why a team that lost to an unranked opponent in a regular season game deserves the right to play for the national championship in the current system.
If there was an actual play-off and USC earned it through that system then I would be all for it.
